Platelet-Rich Fibrin (PRF) Therapy
Platelet-rich plasma (PRP) treatment uses injections of a patient's own plasma, containing platelets, leukocytes, and a high concentration of growth factors within a fibrin matrix, into the scalp or face to promote hair growth and healthy glowing skin, for steady and longer-lasting effects.

ABOUT
Microneedling with Platelet-Rich plasma (PRP) is a newer approach to treating a variety of skin concerns, from hyperpigmentation to scarring. This technique employs tiny needles that penetrate the outer layers of skin in order to stimulate natural healing processes within.
Using PRF with microneedling allows the body to sustainably release growth factors with the presence of the fibrin matrix, potentially providing longer-lasting effects on skin. The leukocytes in PRF contribute to its anti-inflammatory properties.
Overall, this innovative treatment method has been shown to be highly effective in improving many common skin issues, making it an increasingly popular choice for those looking to achieve their best complexion yet.

BENEFITS
- PRF (Platelet-Rich Fibrin) treatment is a simple non-surgical treatment that can help reduce hair loss and result in up to 30% more hair growth by improving scalp hair caliber and density.
- Minimally invasive
- Anti-inflammatory properties
- Stimulates the production of new blood vessels and may slow down hair loss
- Decreases inflammation around the hair follicle to counter stunted hair growth and hair loss
- It can be combined with Hair Kits, supplements and LED Light therapy
- PRF hair loss treatment is effective for men before reaching complete baldness and for women that suffer from diffuse thinning over the scalp.
- Scar reduction & Reduce the appearance of large pores
- Fine lines and wrinkles & Facial rejuvenation
- Anti-aging & Assists in the absorption of skincare
- Steady and longer-lasting effects
HOW IT WORKS
Platelet-Rich Fibrin (PRF) treatment has been used for decades in different medical fields to accelerate the healing of injured tendons, ligaments, muscles and joints. PRP injections use each patient's own healing system by creating a fibrin matrix that supports the slow release of growth factors and cytokines, thereby promoting tissue repair and regeneration. PRF injections include a high concentration of platelets and white blood cells and a fibrin scaffold, which together provide a prolonged and sustained healing effect with Anti-inflammatory properties. By using PRF derived from the patient’s own blood, the risk of allergic reactions or side effects is eliminated.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
What is the difference between PRP & PRF?
Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) is primarily known for its high platelet concentration and is widely used in various medical and aesthetic treatments for quicker but shorter-lasting effects.
Platelet-Rich Fibrin (PRF) is a second generation to Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP). PRF is an all-natural solution that can also treat areas in the face that show the first signs of aging, like under eye hollows, deflated cheeks and in the scalp for hair restoration.
The blood is centrifuged at a lower speed compared to PRP, which allows for the formation of a fibrin matrix. Therefore harvested PRF has platelets, fibrin and white blood cells, contributing to a more prolonged release of growth factors (steady and long-lasting effects) and potential anti-inflammatory benefits.
How often should I get a PRF Treatment?
Maintenance sessions can be scheduled 2 – 4 times per year. To increase the benefits of this treatment, ask our team about other facial rejuvenation procedures to maximize results.
Post-Treatment: How long does it take to recover from a PRF treatment?
There is minimal recovery from a PRF Treatment. Most patients experience redness and minor irritation to the skin after their treatments that will subside in 2-5 days.
