Approved by Health Canada, Sculptra® safely addresses volume loss and facial rejuvenation. It is a biocompatible and biodegradable injectable treatment that naturally stimulates the body to produce collagen.

Sculptra® is a slow and steady approach to volume enhancement. By adding the injectable into the volume deficient treatment areas, the body’s collagen production gets stimulated over a period of months.

New collagen production aids in restoring facial shape and fullness in treatment areas, enhances skin thickness, and contributes to lifting buttocks.

Sculptra® is ideal for anyone seeking to increase volume at a slow, more natural, and subtle pace.

What is Sculptra?

Sculptra is a poly-L-lactic acid (PLLA) that is injected into the skin and restores collagen subtly and gradually over time to the skin’s inner structure as the PLLA microparticles are absorbed. This process increases volume and can help to smooth the skin.

How Is Sculptra Different From Dermal Fillers?

Dermal fillers are gel like substances comprised of hyaluronic acid that diminish lines by pushing up the dermis space beneath wrinkles and crevices. Results are immediate and can last months to years depending on product used. Collagen stimulators like Sculptra, poly-L-lactic acid (PLLA), are used to restore volume to the deep underlying structure of the skin, deep within the dermis rather than topically, to diminish wrinkles, lines and creases. Results appear gradually over the treatment regimen (typically three injections over the course of 3-4 months) and can last up to 2 years.

How Many Sessions Does It Take To Get Results?

On average, three injectable appointments are required over a two to three-month period. The number of appointments and injections per appointment vary depending on your unique skin care needs, specifically how much collagen has been lost over time.
