HOW IT WORKS

Using radiofrequency technology, Thermage® CPT heats the deep, collagen-rich layers of the skin, while the tip of the device vibrates and cools the surface for enhanced patient comfort. By separating the water molecules from the fibrous collagen, the applied heat causes an immediate contraction, resulting in skin tightening. Over the next months, the new collagen growth further tightens the skin.

Does Thermage treatment hurt?

Most patients experience a sensation of warmth and some patients report an occasional pinching sensation. The clinician continuously communicates with you to ensure your comfort and the tolerability of the treatment.

When will I see results from Thermage treatment?

Typically, a subtle difference is seen immediately after your procedure, and results continue to improve for 6-12 months.

Are there any pre-treatment instructions?

Unlike lasers, Thermage works well for all skin types and colours, and can be safely performed in the summer months. However, we will not perform a Thermage on a sun burned skin.
